The human spine contains 33 vertebrae or bones in the infant stage. (The spine then fuses together into 24 vertebrae as an adult.) The spine houses the central nervous system, which processes all of your body's sensors. The spine enables you to stand up straight, bend and move. However, the word spine has a deeper meaning. Spine is also a mental backbone that each of us possesses, like your physical backbone, but this spine is deep inside your body and mind. Everyone has it...but not everyone uses it. The spine we are talking about is the strength of believing in something and standing up for your beliefs, not letting anything hold you back. Spine = Remaining fearless in ALL situations while taking your discipline to the extreme. So stand up and flex your backbone.
